Feeling Differently About UK
Since September
What is the difference since I was in UK in September and now? Yes, The differences is that I was alone and did not have any friends and I was thinking and saying that finish I what to go back to my country and I was saying it for all most for two weeks for my parents, But now I started to like my stay in the UK and made friends.
I started to adapt in the UK and I got to talk to British people in my
Gymnastic club and I go there every Tuesday and Thursday and now they know my and became friends and have fun and go out with them.
Change is a good thing not a bad thing why. Because if you do not change your style in the UK how will you adapt and make friend all
Other things.

Taking care of elderly people

Taking care of elderly people

in my culture

  • who look after the elderly people, her /his children take care of them or there grandchildren take care of them.and they take them to her/his children's house and bring a maid that take care of the elder.the one that has the most money the elder will go with his/she and stay with them.
  • who pays for care for the elderly is the one that take care of them will pay for them or if they wanted money the government will give them.
  • The children of the elder should take care of the elders expanses or the government, but if the elder has money he/she can pay for there expanses.this will be more fair for the children if the elder has money.
  • the differences between who cares for the elderly/who pays for care for the elderly between the UK and your country. In  my country the son's take care of the elder and pay for everything and they stay at there son's house. But in the UK it is different than my country they put there elders in a nursing home or a residential home and they have to pay £3000 a month, but if the elder does not have more than £23,500 they can not go to the nursing home or a residential home.so they will stay at there son's house or daughters home.

Welsh Assembly Government

The role of the welsh assembly in  the assembly has three key roles representing wales and its people making laws for wales and holding the wales government to account.the national assembly has the right to pass laws, but only in area where those power have been expressly conferred. Its outlined in the following subjects of schedule 7 to the government of wales act 2006 examples:
  1. agriculture, forestry, animals, plants and rural development
  2. ancient monuments and historic buildings
  3. culture
  4. econmic development
  5. education and training
  6. environment
  7. fire and rescue service and fire safety
  8. food
  9. health and health service
the assembly was only formed in 1999, the history of the movement toward political devolution in wales dates back to 1886.it also coincided with the begining of administrative devolution in wales through the creation of the welsh bored for education in 1907.

   Against smacking children

is the UK government correct to legislate against beating of
children by parents ?

-yes, the UK government in right about making a law so that
the children can be protected from there parents by abuse.
parents cannot be trusted to use only reasonable light physical
punishment so there should be a law.

-children need protection against physical punishment and law is the only way to do this and in some countries they
tell the children at schools if they got physical punishment
by parents they can call child service's and the call is free.

-anther reason is that parents do not know the difference between smacking and beating.

should the Welsh assembly legislate against smacking ?

-no, they should not make a law on smacking because
smacking is not abusing the children it is a gentle tap on the leg or the bottom.

if the Welsh Assembly put the law of smacking the parents
will not obey the law and some parents will smack there children because if the child makes a inappropriate thing the smack will teach him that, that is way parents do not need a law against smacking.....

The advantages and disadvantages in the E.U

The advantages and disadvantages of Britain in the E.U

Some of the advantages of britain in the (E.U==>
has been seen as providing an improtant political voice and powerful trading for 40 per cent of world trade.o the one hand,Eurosceptic critics argue the britain's sovereignty and independence are threatened by EU development and want the repatraition of national rights from the EU back to britain. they, and other, tend to see EU as a free-trade area in which national legal rights and interests should be firmly retained.
European Common Market free trade within the European Union. Some argue that free trade in the EU can be achieved through the EFTA, but members of the EFTA must abide by all EU laws yet they have absolutely no say in EU policy.Freedom of movement within the EU means that going on holiday or on another form of trip including school visits is much easier

Some of the disadvantages of britain in the (E.U==>
on the other, Europhile supporters want economic and political integration possibly on federal lines,
arguing that the EU enables governments to ration industrial and agricultural policies allows European countiers to operate effectively in a globalized world and run external policies.

Education in Bahrain and the U.K

The education in U.K system is divided into early years ages 3–4, primary education ages 4–11, secondary education ages 11–18 and tertiary education ages 18+.Full-time education is compulsory for all children aged between 5 and 17, either at school or otherwise, with a child beginning primary education during the school year he/she turns 5.Students may then continue their secondary studies for a further two years, leading most typically to A-level qualifications. The leaving age for compulsory education was raised to 18 by the Education and Skills Act 2008. The change takes effect in 2013 for 16-year-olds and 2015 for 17-year-olds. State-provided schooling and sixth form education is paid for by taxes. U.K also has a tradition of independent schooling, but parents may choose to educate their children by any suitable means.
the education in Bahrain is nearly the same we have primary, secondary and with the same ages as will. But the different things are that we must wear uniforms in the primary, secondary not like the U.K in there secondary they can wear there own chose of cloths. They last thing is the time spend in school pre day in U.K they start at 8:00 am and finish at 3:00 or 4:00 pm and in Bahrain we start at 7:00 am and finish at 1:30 pm.

and sorry for the first paragraph I have taken it from the internet because I did not know what to write about the education in U.K.

culture shock

culture shock

The culture shock that happened to me when I arrived to the UK. the first shock is the weather in the UK it is cold and in my home town it is extremely hot weather it's a shock. In Bahrain the temperature is 27 digress and higher in the UK it is 18 or less. And the second thing is the steering wheel in my home town Bahrain the steering wheel is in the right side but in  the UK the steering wheel is in the left side that is a shock for me because if I wanted to drive in the UK it will be difficult because I'm use to driving in the right side so it will be hard for me, that is my culture shock from Bahrain to the UK.
