Against smacking children

 

 

 

is the UK government correct to legislate against beating of

children by parents ?

 

-yes, the UK government in right about making a law so that

the children can be protected from there parents by abuse.

parents cannot be trusted to use only reasonable light physical

punishment so there should be a law.

 

-children need protection against physical punishment and law is the only way to do this and in some countries they

tell the children at schools if they got physical punishment

by parents they can call child service's and the call is free.

 

-anther reason is that parents do not know the difference between smacking and beating.

 

should the Welsh assembly legislate against smacking ?

 

-no, they should not make a law on smacking because

smacking is not abusing the children it is a gentle tap on the leg or the bottom.

 

if the Welsh Assembly put the law of smacking the parents

will not obey the law and some parents will smack there children because if the child makes a inappropriate thing the smack will teach him that, that is way parents do not need a law against smacking.....
