Welsh Assembly Government
The role of the welsh assembly in the assembly has three key roles representing wales and its people making laws for wales and holding the wales government to account.the national assembly has the right to pass laws,but only in area where those power have been expressly conferred.Its outlined in the following subjects of schedule 7 to the government of wales act 2006 examples:
- agriculture, forestry, animals, plants and rural development
- ancient monuments and historic buildings
- culture
- econmic development
- education and training
- environment
- fire and rescue service and fire safety
- food
- health and health service
the assembly was only formed in 1999, the history of the movement toward political devolution in wales dates back to 1886.it also coincided with the begining of administrative devolution in wales through the creation of the welsh bored for education in 1907.
