Taking care of elderly people

Taking care of elderly people

in my culture

  • who look after the elderly people, her /his children take care of them or there grandchildren take care of them.and they take them to her/his children's house and bring a maid that take care of the elder.the one that has the most money the elder will go with his/she and stay with them.
  • who pays for care for the elderly is the one that take care of them will pay for them or if they wanted money the government will give them.
  • The children of the elder should take care of the elders expanses or the government, but if the elder has money he/she can pay for there expanses.this will be more fair for the children if the elder has money.
  • the differences between who cares for the elderly/who pays for care for the elderly between the UK and your country. In  my country the son's take care of the elder and pay for everything and they stay at there son's house. But in the UK it is different than my country they put there elders in a nursing home or a residential home and they have to pay £3000 a month, but if the elder does not have more than £23,500 they can not go to the nursing home or a residential home.so they will stay at there son's house or daughters home.
